Begin your journey by navigating to the official Ledger.com/start page. This is your gateway to downloading the authentic Ledger Live application. Always ensure you are on the official Ledger website to protect yourself from phishing attempts and fraudulent software. The Ledger.com/start portal is designed to provide a seamless onboarding experience, guiding you through every step with clear instructions and helpful resources.
Select your operating system from the options provided (Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, or Android) and download the Ledger Live application. This powerful software serves as your command center for managing cryptocurrency, checking balances, and conducting secure transactions. The download is completely free and the application is regularly updated with new features and security enhancements. Ledger Live supports thousands of cryptocurrencies and provides real-time portfolio tracking.
Once installed, connect your Ledger hardware wallet to your computer or mobile device using the provided USB cable or Bluetooth connection. The device will guide you through the initialization process. If this is your first time using the device, you will set up a new wallet and create a secure PIN code.
